The Story of QuickLets Limassol
All you need is a dream and a destination.
QuickLets Malta started from humble beginnings with a small dedicated office in Ibragg, yet over the years has grown to an empire covering the Maltese Islands. With literally dozens of offices from Zejtun to Xaghra, it was time to start thinking of expanding their operations internationally.
This is of course no easy feat as any accomplished business will let you know, but that didn't stop the founders of QuickLets and Zanzi Homes from setting their sights on new horizons, and seeing just how far they could go. It just so happened that after doing the research, the island of Cyprus, and more particularly, the district of Limassol was the next logical step.
Same same, but different
One of the main appeals for choosing Limassol, was the glaring similarities when compared to Malta. With short direct flights between the two, getting over to inspect the local market and suitability for a new office location was easy.
Also located in the Mediterranean, Cyprus had immense appeal for numerous reasons. With no significant language barriers, communication and administrative processes would prove a bit easier. Throw in the Cypriots' love of good food, sunkissed shores and locals with an equally sunny temperament, and all the ingredients were there to make it a recipe for success.
With excellent weather (apparently Cyprus has 20 more days of sun a year than Malta, but it's not a competition or anything), it was a significant location in terms of drawing in expats from around the world. The sunshine was not the only drawing factor though.
As Steve Mercieca, founder and CEO of QuickLets and Zanzi Homes put it, “It’s a beautiful place, the mountains, the waterfalls, the beaches. It's everything rolled into one”.
A team to create the dream
To make this all a reality though, it was obvious that the right people would be needed. People with years of experience, knowledge of the QuickLets brand, vision and ethos. And who could have been a more obvious pairing than Fabio Zuccaro and Andrea Bonanno.
With both having done their time at QuickLets and Zanzi Homes in Malta and making waves in the real estate market for their approachability, knowledge and desire to also see how big QuickLets could grow, they were the logical choice to set up the first international office.
In 2020, Quicklets Limassol branch was opened for business and has been providing superior customer service and property letting support ever since.
